Answer: If you receive a phone call that is unsolicited then the easiest thing to do is simply hang up. You could also screen your calls by letting the answer machine take the message and then find out callers details.
NEVER call back on unknown numbers as they may be premium rate numbers and NEVER disclose personal information on the phone unless you have made it to someone you know. Many telephone providers offer a Telephone Referencing Service to assist in blocking unknown callers, further information can be given as to these services by your service provider.
