Community Safety

Community safety is at the forefront of Partnership activity, SHP aims to raise awareness about crime and anti-social behaviour whilst also educating local residents about what they can do to prevent them from becoming victims of crime.

The hub of Safer Hartlepool Partnership activity is the dedicated office based at 8 Church Street.

The building houses crime prevention and reduction officers, the crime and disorder reduction co-ordinator, research analysts, administration staff, the drug interventions team, problem-solving co-ordinators, the Ringmaster Team and a fire secondee.
